Missing a feature? Under Ideas & Roadmap, BoothDock collects the feature requests of all operators. You vote for requests, submit your own and see what we are working on right now. The page is public at boothdock.cloud/roadmap; you take part with your Hub account.
Where to find the page
- In the Hub: under Help → Ideas & Roadmap. The board is at the top; below it is a private form for anything only our team should read – such as a bug or praise. Open public page takes you to the public view.
- Public: at boothdock.cloud/roadmap. Reading works without an account; to vote, comment and submit, sign in with Sign in to take part.
Finding requests
- Search: also finds requests that were submitted in another language.
- Sort: Top shows the requests with the most votes first, New the latest, Trending those with the most votes in the last 14 days.
- Status: Open, Planned, In progress, Done or Declined.
- View: List or Roadmap – the roadmap arranges the requests in the columns Planned, In progress and Done.
Voting and commenting
With Vote you give a request your vote; each account has one vote per request. Remove vote undoes it. Under Comments you write what you need the feature for – that helps us more than any vote. Replies from our team are marked Team reply. The page shows requests from other languages translated automatically, with the note "Translated automatically."; comments stay in their language.
Submitting a request
- Click Submit an idea.
- Fill in Title (6 to 120 characters), Description (up to 2000 characters) and Area: Studio, Hub, Booking, Station or Other.
- While you are still typing the title, the page shows similar requests. If your request already exists, vote there instead – that way your vote counts for more. Otherwise click Submit; if the page only finds something similar at that point, continue with Submit anyway.
When a request is done
If we implement a request you supported, you receive a one-time email, usually with a link to what exactly is new; on the page, What's new takes you there. Use the unsubscribe link in that email to stop receiving such emails.
What is public
Title, description, comments and the company name from your account are publicly visible; if none is stored, "Operator" is shown. Your email address and your name never appear, and nobody sees who voted – only the number of votes. If you want one of your own contributions removed, write to our support team. More on this in the privacy policy under section 4.
