Your own gallery address – your galleries under your name

With Pro, your guests see their galleries under your name, for example https://fotobox-sonnenschein.boothdock.cloud instead of boothdock.cloud. A gifted Pro period and the Pro trial count as Pro too.

Where to find it

  1. In the Hub, open Billing and switch to the Account tab.
  2. In the Your own gallery address card, type your name under Preferred name. The Hub checks right away whether it is free (Available).
  3. Click Save address. Your new address then appears under Current address.

Only the owner and admins of the account can change the address. Without Pro, the card only shows a note about the Pro feature.

Which links get the new address

  • In the event, the gallery link and the Short address – and with them the card from Print QR card.
  • The QR code the box receives from the Hub after a capture.
  • The links in e-mails to your guests.

The Hub, sign-in and account stay on boothdock.cloud. Existing gallery links on boothdock.cloud stay valid – including QR codes that are already printed.

Anyone who opens just your address without a path sees a start page in your default branding with the field Gallery link or short code – no list of your events. Only galleries of your account open under your address.

Rules

  • 3–40 characters: lowercase letters, digits and hyphens (not at the start or end). Some names are reserved.
  • You can change the address at most once every 30 days.
  • Release address gives up your name. A released or changed name stays blocked for 90 days. During that time, links with the old name forward to your current address – or to boothdock.cloud if you have none.
  • If Pro ends, your address forwards to the normal gallery address. If Pro returns, it works again immediately. After 12 months without Pro, the name is released.
  • Deleting your account also releases the name.
